Walk through the main concourse underneath Centraal Station until you pop up on the harbour where you will find a ferry stop. Two cute little ferries run a continuous free shuttle service to the north shore - and you can take your bike, naturally. Take the ferry for a different view of Amsterdam or get off on the other side and visit the EYE Film Institute.
You cant miss the Amsterdam centre for film or 'building in motion' which has a cafe, shop and some great interactive exhibits. A celebration of all things film Im particularly fond of the space which has loops of classic films screening with touch screens so you choose what is projected on the walls.
Alternatively just explore and hang out and (hopefully) enjoy the sunshine.
